The LEGEND & LEGACY design focuses on Boston's history and heritage - marking the legendary Freedom Trail, a historic landmark in Boston, as well as referencing the legendary 1913 US Open. When amateur golfer Francis Ouimet won the tournament, he shaped his own legacy, which is immortalized in statue form to this day. The edition incorporates the Irish heritage of the city of Boston and Francis Ouimet with the self-illustrated logo of the Celtic knot in Vice form, including the horseshoe. The lead color green is reminiscent of the successful NBA team, Boston Celtics. These design elements are combined in our premium VICE PRO PLUS model, with half a dozen each featuring the special LEGEND imprint and the other half featuring the special LEGACY imprint.

A CAST URETHANE cover is the most expensive cover to produce among urethane covers, as the total manufacturing process takes longer than other urethane processes. Cast urethane results in stronger polymer chains for increased performance and durability at minimum thickness. Tested by a swing robot at the independent "Golf Laboratories" in San Diego, USA, the new Vice PRO PLUS achieved unseen distance off the tee with high ball speed, while still offering very low driver spin and high, yet controllable wedge spin. The number of swings to test impact durability at factory have been increased by 25% to allow for higher longevity.
The new Vice PRO PLUS outperforms the Titleist Pro V1x in ball speed, carry- and total distance as well as driver spin. The Vice PRO PLUS achieves a ball speed of 161.7 mph when hit with 109 mph driver swing speed, compared to 160.3 mph (Titleist Pro V1x), travels 253.8 yds carry (Titleist Pro V1x: 251.0 yds) and reaches a total distance of 275.4 yds compared to Titleist Pro V1x (270.5 yds / -4.9 yds). The driver spin of Vice PRO PLUS at 2475.4 rpm is 111.2 rpm lower than its competitor Titleist ProV1X (2586.6 rpm) at similar ball flight height. (Detailed test results)
