When recording, processing and making use of your personal details, we adhere strictly to statutory regulations. We record, store and process your details for the overall processing of your purchase, including the provision of any warranties, for our service provision and technical administration and for our own marketing purposes. Your details are only passed on or shared with third parties if this is necessary for processing your order or for billing, or if you have given your prior consent. For example, service providers that we use will also receive the data which is necessary for processing your order. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their function. Any other use of the information is not permitted. Your personal details are deleted, providing this is not prevented by any statutory obligations to retain such data, if you request it to be deleted, if there is no longer any requirement for it to be stored or if storing it is not permitted for other legal reasons.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google LLC ("Google"). Third-party Providers' Cookies in General

Hotjar

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

E-mail Policy

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and those who voluntarily include their e-mail addresses when ordering online. We may also collect your e-mail address if you provide it in the process of completing survey information or registering for online contests. We can’t obtain your e-mail address unless you voluntarily provide it to us, or we obtain it from a service company that has confirmed your willingness to distribute it.

Other than the exceptions noted above, we will not sell, share or otherwise distribute your e-mail address. Any e-mail address supplied directly to us with respect to online orders, catalog requests, and requests for other information will remain in the sole possession of Vice Sporting Goods, Inc. Text Message Policy

With your consent, we may send you text messages marketing our products and services to the cell phone number you have provided to us. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending marketing text messages. This means that we will not send you marketing text messages, unless you have expressly consented that you agree to the sending of the marketing text messages. We will then send you a confirmation text asking you to confirm that you wish to receive future text messages by clicking a link or responding to the confirmation text message. By doing so, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data including in accordance with Art.6(1) point a GDPR.
