The Problem

Most wedges are designed for perfect lies and ideal conditions. That’s not how the game is played. Real golf happens from uneven turf, soft sand, and awkward stances where consistency matters most. That’s where traditional wedge designs fall short, and why the VGW02 was built using strike data and fitting insights from real golfers, not tour assumptions.

Our Solution

The data showed that, to optimize the wedge design, we needed to focus on bounce, relief, and turf interaction first. Progressive bounce, along with added toe and heel relief, helps the VGW02 glide through the lies you actually play from without requiring perfect technique.

Your Benefit

With the VGW02, contact feels more predictable, and spin is easier to manage. The short game becomes simpler to trust, leading to more consistency and confidence around the green. All thanks to real data provided by golfers just like you.
